Domyoji Flour (100g)
Domyoji flour is one kind of rice flours, made from glutinous rice after steamed and roughly milled. It has rougher grains and mainly used for for "Sakura mochi" or "Ohagi".
"Domyoji" is the name of a temple located in Fujiidera city, Osaka prefecture. The age of provincial wars (middle of 15th century to early 17th century), they have been making "Hoshiii" from glutinous rice offered to the temple. It is very famous and so the flour from glutinous rices became to be called "Domyoji flour".
