Shiratama Flour (100g)

Shiratama flour is one kind of rice flours, it is specifically made from glutinous rice ("Mochi-gome" in Japanese).

It is stickier than ordinary rice flour due to more amylopectin inside, as well as finer and tastes softer.

We use Shiratama flour of "Tamasan" brand, imported from Japan. They have been selling Shiratama flour ~100 years. This Shiratama flour was once served to the Emperor.
At STAR KITCHEN, it is used for star bowl, dorayaki, mochi cream, and kingyoku.
